Send a storm report

Your photo of the storm, what it showed, and where and when you saw it. Every report is checked by a person before it appears.

If people or property are in danger, call 911 first. If you are seeing a tornado, a funnel, hail or damage right now, report it to your local National Weather Service office too — they can act on it and we cannot. Send it here afterwards, from somewhere safe.

What we put up, and what we do not

Your own photos only, taken in the last twelve months.
No photos of injured people, and no one who can be recognised unless they agreed to it.
No photos taken while driving. We will not put up a picture that was taken from behind the wheel, however good it is.
We do not reward getting close. Nothing here ranks photos by how near the photographer was, and nothing ever will.
We may crop or decline any photo, and will not always say why.
