Storm photos from watchers
Tornadoes, wall clouds, shelf clouds, hail and flooding, sent in by the people who were there — each checked by a person before it went up.

How this works
Anyone can send a photo of a storm they saw: a tornado, a funnel, a wall cloud, a shelf cloud, hail, wind damage, flooding, lightning, or simply the structure of a storm. We check each one before it appears — that it shows what it says, that it was taken safely, and that it is the sender’s own. Locations are shown to the nearest town, never closer.
These are watchers’ accounts, not official reports. If you see severe weather, report it to your local National Weather Service office first; they can act on it. The Storm Watch page has the day’s official reports, the outlook, and a field guide to what you are looking at.
